mull of kintyre was the longest number 1 song in the UK, like weeks and weeks. Really? The version released here only lasted about 3-4 minutes.

1) Bob Dylan - Time Out Of Mind
Released in 1997, this is his meditation on life and death and his own mortality. Quite depressing. I love it.
2) The Clash - Sandinista!
2 1/2 hours long, this album's a mess: terrible attempts at rap, awful experiments in dub, the band was trying to expand their horizons, as they had done on London Calling. It's a chaotic mess and an utter failure, yet I'm oddly drawn to it.
3) Outkast - Speakerboxxx/The Love Below
Two fantastic albums in one, it's probably my favourite rap album ever made. The Love Below is a fantastic boundary-pusher and is the greatest Prince album done by someone other than Prince, but that's not to discredit Speakerboxxx.
4) Kanye West - Late Registration
SUNDAY NIGHT~!!!!!!!!!!111111111
5) Graham Parker - Squeezing Out Sparks
Fantastic enjoyable New Wave fun. It was difficult for me to choose between this and Elvis Costello's This Year's Model, however. Both awesome and synth-heavy.
Anyway, we'll go with Meg's person, DogLover.

Lucky I checked the Music thread today or I wouldnt have seen its my turn!
Anyhoo, 5 Cd's is such a small number! But......
1. Savage Garden - Truly, Madly Completely. I love both of their other albums but this compilation has the best of both plus 5 awesome B sides.
2. Delta Goodrem - Innocent Eyes No matter how many times I have listened to this over the last 2 or so years it is still a fave of mine (no matter what anyone else thinks of her!)
3. Kate DeAraugo - A place ive never been Yes shes an Idol but I really like this album. And it always uplifts me when I listen to it, not only because of the songs but because of the fact that she actually won and managed to make a great CD even with all the critisism and backlash!
4. My Generation Part 1 Really love those 80's beats.
5. My Generation Part 2 REALLY REALLY love those 80's tunes! lol....

Ah well clearly Iffy isn't going to come to the party, and insists on being in the kitchen.
So we'll do one for him
1. Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth
2. Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
3. Ramones - End Of The Century
4. Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bollocks
5. Ramstein - Sehnsucht
I pick TQ to go next.

1. Pixies - Doolittle. Although I'd like to take their entire catalogue, have to settle on this one. Just a great album. Plus I can sing along to just about every song, which is comforting.
2. Foo Fighters - Colour and the Shape. Despite being widely bagged for my love of this album, I cannot tell a lie. It's great.
3. Green Mind - Dinosaur Jr. Slacker rock at its very best. "There never really is a good time/always nothing much to say ..."
4. Beach Boys - Pet Sounds. Sometimes I feel very sad. And sometimes this album makes me feel better.
5. Black the Sun - Alex Lloyd. Genius debut from the forgotten man of Oz rock. If only he'd stuck to the urban electronica-tinged pop of Black the Sun rather than going for a middle-of-the-road-with-country-feel pap he's produced since.
Now I'll go home, look at my CD collection, and weep over something I've forgotten to add.
I choose ... shite I have to check the previous posts.
