Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire soundtrack - I've listened to it sooo much I just love all the music, every track is one I can listen to. You did. Thank you. I thought it would be interesting to see what people listen to the most currently.
What's your favourite Rufus song? - Mine is The Tower of Learning.
You have to nominate someone else to find out theirs now, so your eyebrows can stop aching.

OH LOL!!!! Was I THAT obvious? Sheesh, you people know me too well.
By the way, I've never heard of Rufus Wainright. Is he a singer/songwriter?
At the moment the 5 discs i would take with me to a desert island:
1. Red Roses for Me - The Pogues
The energy in the music will keep my spirits up.
2. Rain Dogs - Tom Waits
I can listen to this album over and over - it's so rich in different emotions and so varied in moods.
3.Pablo Casal's 1953 recording of Bach's Cello Sonatas
Beautiful. And you can hear him humming along in the background and you he plays the pieces so sensitively - you feel that he has lived his years.
4. No Direction Home - Bob Dylan
This album has most of everything I love about the man - except Hurricane.
5. Come on Feel the Illinoise -Sufjan Stevens -
I've been listening and thinking about this album quite a lot recently.
And I nominate.....4213!
Because she set up the thread and has had to wait until this post before she can wax lyrical about her fave discs at the moment.

No I want to go last.

You would have heard Rufus on Shrek Fyrrn. He sings Cohen's Hallelujah on it. he's a majorly camp singer who has a haunting voice. First time I heard Hellelujah and I loved it, then, I heard Jeff sing it and Rufus became 2nd fiddle to my fickle ways.
Edit: I just renamed it Hellelujah, I like that hahaha.

He's the son of Kate McGarrigle, of Kate & Anna McGarrigle fame.

I'm going to have to direct her as she doesn't frequent the lower categories often, she's above us.
