Oh, let it go. Casey won Idol, Anthony missed out. Good on Anythony for making number 1, but Casey still won the competition. Besides, if Anthony had had to release that lame song and Casey released The Prayer, I'm sure the shoe would quickly be on the other foot. LMAO NO! cause Casey couldn't sing The Prayer to begin with. |

Anthony and Casey are good friends, yet there are some Anthony fans who refer to her as 'fatyart' and don't miss any oportunity to put her down. Then they have the gall to call her a bad example for teenagers when their pettiness and malice is a bad example to the entire human race. |

If Anthony heard all the horrible things you Anthony fans say about Casey, I am sure he would not want you as his fans. Casey is his friend and they ended up quite close at the end of Idol.
So you people take a look at the respect he gives to Casey and give her some yourselves.

hmv sed it was gonna be released 2moz, that's strange many people thought, because a lot of sites like Sanity, HMV and all of them said that the release date was 19 Dec, but it was actually released 12 Dec (same day as Casey's album!) |

You people are rude, and are giving ANTHONY a bad name. Who wants to hear someone who they associate with rude pettiness? Show a bit of respect for other people...Anthony's accomplishment shouldn't signify Casey's misfortune. Besides, the competition is over. caseys single was #1 for a couple of weeks, so its not like they released their songs the same week and anthony came out on top
I would of thought that they would of let casey have a another week before anthonys single was released...she'd still be #1 this week, if he'd released on the 19th dec like it was promoted...maybe they were worried as shannons new single is released this week and didnt want that competition

What a wonderful example she sets, not just for teenagers, but for everyone. She shows remarkable self-possession for someone so young. I hope your son, Mrs Callea, possesses the same qualities. |

Please note: the real winner of Australian Idol (barring Simon Fuller) is the person who receives the most votes leading up to the night of the grand final. That person was Casey. Anthony is currently more successful than Casey. That still doesn't make him the winner.  |

You're allowed to smoke when you're 16, you're just not allowed to buy cigarettes yourself. Casey is being no worse of a role model than Anthony is. The fact Casey is the Australian Idol is a flimsy excuse in itself, without adding the fact that at the same time you're claiming Anthony to be a "real winner".
