Tell us about your new CDs ;D Yesturday I bought The Killers - Hot Fuss with a christmas CD voucher. Pretty good stuff, obvious influences from the Cure (Mr. Brightside esp) and Duran Duran. Not a classic though, but still no really bad tracks. Best Tracks: Mr. Brightside (awesome, reason I bought the album) All These Things I've Done Andy, You're A Star I got Smashing Pumkins Greatest Hits too, ace, but I already knew that

The\ last album I bought for me was
Blue, Joni Mitchell.
This was based on Pulp's recommendation and I absolutely love it. It makes me cry though.
I recommend it to anyone who loves a confronting musical moment about someone who is going through crap in their life.
Otherwise, don't listen to it.

I love that Joni Mitchell song in Love Actually - Both Sides Now, so sad... And A Case of You as well(thanks too Chanel ;D). Maybe I should seek that one out.

A Case of You is on the Blue album and hence Pulp recommending it to me after hearing Chanel sing it and being spellbound by it. Love Actually, fantastic movie. Sad sad song. Joni has a sad voice. Oh dear over the 'I love you stage' and onto the crying stage.

Hmmm post recent purchases... Pete Murray's "Feeler": I'm in love with his voice. Fave tracks are probably...'So Beautiful', 'Lines', 'My Time', 'Please' and 'Ten Ft Tall' I bought Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals "Live From Mars" album (again since I lost one of the discs). Absolutely adore the guy! Sooo many favourite tracks...'Burn One Down', 'Steal My Kisses', 'Waiting On An Angel', 'Welcome to the Cruel World', 'The Drugs Don't Work' and 'In The Lord's Arms'. Amazing CD

I at last bought Love - Forever Changes.
One of my favourite albums that I have had so much difficulty tracing down to buy, but I found it at last. And it's so bloody brilliant.

I won off the circle of sound on the radio - could've won Big Day Out tickets, U2, Snow Patrol or Pearl Jam, but I ended up with what I least wanted, Handsome Boy Modeling School - White People. Still, it's a pretty good, well produced album with guest appearences from the likes of Jack Johnson and Jamie Cullum. Cool cover too.
