Ok Meg here it is.
Saxon gone, what a shame, I was hoping Rory or Dave would go over him. In terms of interest, Saxon was better value.
This year I find value in Travis, Bridget, Rima, Nobbi, Dixie (though she drives me insane).
Ones that are of little interest thus should go are Alice, Dave, Rory, Bianca, Rebecca.
I'm watching Nathan and Ben as I think they might add some intellect at least. The rest are very childish. The rugby chick, I forget her name, is kinda a bit under the radar, but I like her simplicity.
Terry! (yuk). Cory, well just a 17 year old kid really who had notoriety he shouldn't have.

Hey,
Sorry for the delay. Two reasons. I use Opera rather than Internet Explorer. With Opera this forum doesn't exist anymore. Inside Australian Idol does. AI1 forum does. But not AI2. It's just advertising. But (and I ashamed to say this) I just bought two weeks of live streaming and it only works with Internet Explorer. So, to cut a long and boring story short, I found the forum again using Internet Explorer.
Other reason, had a big report to do and a short time to do it in. Was up til 2 in the morning the night before last finishing the thing.
Hmm, well about Saxon. I didn't like him very much so I wasn't sorry to see him go. I think it was a cop out when he said Bianca was up herself because she thought he was interested in her. Of course he was interested. You don't trail your fingers up someone's arm to 'comfort' them.
Corey's a wanker. Particularly since he left the house. I guess you know that Corey was caught trying to use fake ID to get into a club and either he or his friends caused some damage to his hotel room. Publicity stunt much. The whole idea of him being on BB was repugnant. And even worse, the show's attempt to make Corey look good.
I like Terri. She's an old 52 though. More like 70. She's fitting into the house better now. It hasn't been easy for her. Nobbi said that no one of her age has a right to be in the house. Was I that ageist at his age? Regretably, I think I was. She's gone if she's ever in the final three. Rory said that he liked her, but in the same breath said he'd vote for her to go. I think generational loyalty will be the death of Terri, even if she does become popular in the house.
Bianca I liked at first. I liked her idealism, but she's too heavy handed with it. And not as grown up as she thinks either. She looked hot after Carson's makeover. A classic hourglass despite being top heavy. They are very big. I can see why she wants a reduction. They make her look as if she's about to topple over.
Travis is wearing thin. I can see why he's starting to be an irritant. I can't believe someone of his age is so naive about sex. Not with all the sex the average person is subjected to in the media. You'd have to have been hiding behind a bush all your life to be as ignorant as he.
Dixie runs too hot and cold for me. I'd be wondering if this is the day she likes me, or hates me. I think she has an unfortunate tendency to bitch about someone for a minor infraction, say she hates them, but then like them again soon after.
I don't like Nathan. Something doesn't quite gel. He says he's not interested in Renee as a girlfriend but her flirts with her. I think she's onto him. I hope so. She needs to protect herself.
What do say about Brigette? A three year old inside a twenty-one year old's body. I want her to stay awhile though. She's interesting to watch. I am afraid she might win. She's second in popularity at the moment. The sympathy vote is a powerful one. And if is easy to feel sympathy for Brigette if you think of her as a toddler. I wonder what Brigette's parents are thinking as they watch Brigette and all the criticisms in the house and on the forums about Brigette's upbringing being responsible for the way she behaves.
Nobbi is getting better for me after a slow start. Ben is Ok. Dave isn't particularly interesting. Alice either. Rory might be a good love interest for Renee.
Rebecca was no loss. But how manipulative of BB to show them footage of Bianca and Dixie talking negatively about her BEFORE she makes the decision about who gets the grenade virtually guarranteeing that one of them would be the lucky recipient. They weren't the only one's who bitched about her.

well my first impressions have totally changed now and just goes to show we can't go on them. It takes a long time to really 'like' someone and get to know them.
Saxon, well he was just an idiot with some anger management issues. Props for him to try to change though.
Corey just seemed like a bloke easily led to me. I don't think he was fundamentally bad, just needed some strong guidance and Terry isn't the type as she's autocratic. Corey has self esteem issues, needs to be liked by everyone. Takes one to know one. He could do with some time away from peers that one and the artificial limelight.
I really don't like Terri, she doesn't do 'olds' justice as she's way too impressed with her age. Ok it's difficult for her, I agree, she does stand up for herself and keeps herself 'herself' amongst a bunch of egomaniacs. She also has a go at the games and challenges, so props for that too. I won't be sorry to see her go, she doesn't bring sufficient wisdom.
Urgh, Bianca is awful. She tries to be something she isn't. She's completely confused. Is she intellectual? No she's a pain in the arse who tries to pretend she is. Those boobs she says are a curse, I'd have had them reduced as soon as they got to an E. I think possibly she likes the attention, by saying she hates them. She is pretty and has a nice figure, but for 18 she's totally over mature and feels her generation are seen as the worst! Come now, all of us in youth have had a bad rap for youth, this generation have it no harder. Corey may show her up, but this is a cyclic problem that will always occur. I only have to watch laddette to lady and think, do people think English women are like that? It's just newsworthy sadly. no loss to the house, too miserable.
Travis isn't as cool as I thought. He's incredibly sheltered but plays on it. He is annoying and tries to play the game of being everyone's friend. You cannot be basically. He has his moments of being sincere, but I think this has become forced for me now.
Dixie. I do like her hahahah. She's a dream to watch. She is so changeable. I don't like predictable too much and I think she's going stir crazy with no sex and Rory oozing that testerone around her, he is rather well put together that one.
I really liked Nathan until his flirting with Renee. Now Renee is the only genuine in the house, thus I would like her to win. He really did lead her on, just touching her, if you have an infatuation, that is dynamite, he was cruel to her. If you know someone has an infatuation for you and it isn't reciprocated, keep them at arms length. Don't cuddle them and say 'no not going to happen'. Dickhead. Perhaps that was his play for popularity? The couple? Backfired didn't it, we all hated it.
Brigette is hiliarous. She's a spoiled brat and gosh, so hard for her in there. They really have tested her and I think she has tried and will grow from the experience. I like her above Rebecca who only wanted her bikini contract and voted herself out, stupid tart. At least Brigette is having to learn how to be with others, isolation is horrible, self isolation worse. Her evolution is interesting to me. Her blonde locks and fake boobs are not winning votes with the males and I think that is a good thing. She needs to work on her brain, I do believe she has one, just been daddy's little girl and now it's time to grow up. I honestly do like her, she's a product and hopefully will turn a little humane. Ah I spoiled my kids, all three are totally different, small heart, big heart, somewhere in between. Some is parenting, but a lot the person themself.
Nobbi. Hmmmm. i admire how he took the challenge of combi and just made it his own. He's lively and even sucked up his hatred for Terri. Like ok, as a person he's damned annoying, but his attitude has stuck through his separation from the group and that I think is a good thing. I'm ambivalent I guess, he annoyed me greatly with some of his views, but I'd have a drink with the bloke and have fun.
Alice, yeah, still not amused, she's duill as dishwater to me. Ben, well perhaps introversion just doesn't bring out his personality. I liked his dryness, but there really isn't anyone there he can talk to, so he's fox and hounds. I don't like that much.
Rory, well he's alpha male inni. He's a great manly specimen and extremely nicely packaged, but offers little in terms of value, other than looking good and being strong. He's ok, not a winner or loser, just middle ground, strongest of all the males. I guess my feminine ways tends to look at that from an evolution perspective, yeah him strong, etc, but mind wise, I'd be over the body in say, three weeks (heheheh)
Dave, never really thought much of him either way, so couldn't have made an impression. I think he had more to offer though. oh well
Renee, to win for me. Genuine person, lovely.

Hi there, 4213
I'll just say hi tonight and do a longer post in the morning. It's 11.15pm here and it's past my bedtime.
Surprised to see so many 'guests' still visit the forum. There's also been another 'invisible' logged in at the same time as me. Zeds?
Just watched Big Mouth. I guess it will on in WA in an hour or two. Sara Marie is the guest tonight. She annoyed me on BB and she still annoys me. That show has been a disappointment. I was hoping for something more insightful, esp since Tim is on the panel. Oh for the days when we got analysis of the HMs behaviour from Carmel.
Catch you tomorrow.

I think Biance is a asset to the house. It would certainly be more dull without her. What I like about her being there, is that unlike most of them. Bianca is on a quest. Originally it was to show Australia that not all of Y generation are hedonistic, empty headed etc. But it's becoming more of a journey of the self. Bianca seemed to go in with a very definite picture of who she is and now it's been challenged. Bianca is going to have to make a choice between the 'need to be liked' versus the 'need to be right'. The trouble is that the negative feedback is coming from three unreliable sources. Saxon, who bagged her to save face. Rebecca who got along OK with Bianca until she was shown footage after the show and David, who, ironically, Bianca gave two points to for not listening. A little projection from both of them? She spoke to Terri about it, who said she's been getting it all her life which wasn't very helpfull, IMO. Bianca is concerned that she'll have to change to be liked. I want to yell through the screen, not change, just modify. Listening is a skill that can be learned, you can have your opinions but learn to express them more diplomatically, you can learn to pause and think before reacting etc. Anyway, I want to see where Bianca finishes, so I hope she'll be around for a bit longer.
re. the boobs. I don't know what age they do breast reductions but eighteen may be a little too young. It's major surgery, lots of scarring and it may interfere with breastfeeding. So maybe she's been given advice to wait and have children first. Or, perhaps, still being a student she's unable to yet afford the cost of the surgery. I think I'd feel ambiguous about it. On one hand, how could you not love the fact that men find them erotic? On the other, they demand so much attention that the rest of you is ignored. They must make buying clothes very difficult, not to mention the backache.
I think the problem with Corey and Terri is that Corey resented her and Terri didn't like the task. He was always trying to elude her but complained that she wasn't attentive enough. They had opposing agendas, no wonder they clashed.
I would love Terri to have a companion closer to her age. Actually, there is one of the list of possible intruders on Behind Big Brother. He's fifty-two and he appears to be a conservative. I would prefer someone a bit older. There's two categories of baby boomers. The younger ones, of the disco era, tend to be more conservative and cynical. They lived through the Watergate scandal, the dissolution etc. But the older ones were of the hippie generation. I think it would be really cool to have conservative Terri, a free spiritied oldie and the younger ones. Plus it would change the dynamics and Terri wouldn't be all on her own.
Travis is annoying because always positive people are annoying. They're just as annoying as negative people. Maybe because neither reflect reality? I didn't like the way Brigette spoke to him and was glad he outperformed her but understand her frustration. She took the task seriously and wanted to do her best and Travis was an impediment.
Dixie is another asset to the house. But I can't say I like her. Muleish, unaccountable (as with the food stealing) and always complaining to BB about something. Her relationship with Brigette is one to watch - whether it will last or not.
Renee is like Reggie. We like her because she's what you see is what you get. She's not inclined to be moody either. If she's angry, she gets angry and then moves on. Thankfully, she seems to have a few more brain cells than Reggie.
Brigitte is another fascinating character. And she is learning to deal with things better. She and the other housemates were cruelly manipulated by BB. They were like siblings fighting for equity - 'it's not fair if she gets something and I don't' sort of thing. She and Terri bounce off each other beautifully. Terri is good for Brigette. She's like a parent figure, but not inclined to indulge her like her own parents. Terri gives praise when Brigette has a break through too. I love the way Brigette give Terri 'cheek'.
I think Nobbi is a manipulator. I'm still to get my finger on it but I think Ben's picked it up. They're circling each other like sharks. Nobbi has the numbers though. Ben needs some intruders.
Interesting how the evictions have worked this time with mostly males going. I think it shows how the girls tend to be more polarising. Under this system, the people who are so-so about are more likely to go first.
