I don't know how interesting this will be to anyone who doesn't have a baby but this looks like a fascinating programme. They've taken 11 families with 1 year old babies and looking at all sorts of aspects of their lives. Looking at personality, development etc Then they will follow up these families over 7 years.

Maybe no-one else saw this programme but I certainly found it interesting. I suppose from a voyeuristic point of view as well - how other families with similar aged babies as mine are living their lives. There's the couple in their 40s who have gone through several unsuccessful IVF attempts and finally have their little girl. But the mother's expectations of a normal delivery and breastfeeding until the age of 1 have been let down. I can't help feeling concerned about the mother's risk for PND. There's the couple with quintuplets!!!!!And the baby being followed is the "runt." He is showing some insecurity in his personality which is common in prem babies who have spent months in neonatal ICU. There's the Aboriginal family with their baby being the youngest of 8 and others. It's very generous of the families to let the cameras into their homes and letting us view their lives.
