Yes, two older males (at least one of whom was in a relationship) were had a crush on a sixteen year old girl.
Because God knows there can't be a purely pletonic relationship between a male and a female.

Amali adored Courtney and vice versa. I think it was more like a platonic big brother /little sister relationship.

See my post above yours. And ignore the fact I wrote pletonic rather than platonic.

Oh I disagree with that! I think it is possible to have platonic relationships with the opposite sex.I have male friends - some I have had sexual feelings towards ( not that I would ever admit it to them!) and the rest - the thought had NEVER crossed my mind!

Not to point you out especially Fyrrn, but why does nobody know when I'm being sarcastic!? Should I use this more often?

Oh forgive me Babs! The way I read your first post I thought that you AGREED with the first two. I am so ashamed of my error ;D I think it's part of the limitations of communicating on baords/emails etc because the tone of voice and body language isn't there.

There IS such a thing as platonic relationships between males and females. Yes, we know about when Harry met Sally but this is the 21st century now, we are in the Noughties for crying out loud! I have heaps of platonic relationships with other males. My boyfriend has plenty of female friends who have never been more than female friends.
Courtney and Amali's friendship/ love for each other would have definitely been brotherly / sisterly love without a doubt. Anthony on the other hand would probably have had more deviot ideas for little Amali. But who knows, if she hadn't had a boyfriend she might have been all for it!
