So Shannon got done for Drink Driving after he blew .11 Another sad chapter in the rapid decline of this no-talent bum. That is the most stupid thing to do. Drink driver is one of the worst offenders, think about others on the road. Completely agree, there is no excuse. But this could be a blessing in disguise...maybe Shannon getting busted will "remind" a few others to be more careful. |

Yeh it will remind us not to let 15 minutes of fame go to our heads just because we have one and a half hits as a second rate hillbilly singer. Shannon....please return to the front counter....your 15 minutes are up.

What is with Idols and dangerous driving? Guy said he has driven at 226kmph, that is almost unimaginable! And he must have sped more than once also. Maybe their sudden shot to fame makes them think they really are invincible, and that they won't get caught.

People get arrested for drink driving every day. Celebrity status probably has nothing to do with Shannon's drink driving charge. Ditto Guy.

I lost respect for Shannon when he defended doing drugs and engaging the services of prostitutes as a kid, saying it's something all guys did when they were that age.

Well, there you go. He's always been a bastard. Celebrity didn't make him one.
I've heard that excuse from other guys who have visited prostitutes - that all all guys do it. If the shoe were on the other foot and women did it they would either be called sluts or pathetic because they had to pay for sex.
I don't respect men who go to prostitutes.
