Yeah, Chanel had a lot of the initial impact and a lot of pizazz but Casey was a grower and steadily gained attention throughout the competition. I found she became the most memorable because many of her songs and performances have stayed with me.
But there's no denying that Chanel, Casey and Anthony all had an impact.

Same here ... and the fact I can listen to Casey 24/7. Unique and real and as Mark said "compared to no one". Not many artists I can say that about.

CASEY DONOVAN! WILL BE COMPARED TO NO ONE!
Casey - for her uniqueness, timid and shy exterior, beautiful interior, magnificent vocals and range. Also her ability to stay true to herself.
SHE IS THE AUSTRALIAN IDOL!
Anthony - The focus and determination of such a small guy with such a big voice. He is impressive.
Courtney - The drive and the passion. The commitment and the experience.
Hayley - The never-give-up attitude was touching for viewers who admired her tenacity. And her ability to take Mark Holden's criticism and strive to do better next week.
Chanel - The individuality and the kookiness, she definitely has passion but her greatness will come when she is doing her thing the way she wants to do her thing. So Chanel Cole, do your thing!
Marty - Keep on Rockin On. You also need to stay true to yourself and the style of music you want to pursue, because it hurts you to try and be something that you're not. Great voice, great falsetto!
Ricki-Lee - Diva, glamour puss, disco queen, soul sister, pop princess - a variety show in a nutshell. She had it all but was sent away from our tv screens too soon but will be back. Half the Gold Coast petitioning to get her back on the show after she was booted must be saying something!
Daniel Belle - From Rock DJ to You Raise Me Up and Your Song, the voice was nice but had its imperfections, but in his own style could be absolutely fantastic. A Musicals man, its in his blood.
Emelia - Good effort, great at changing image. Quite the chameleon. Quite a character.
Amali - Funny gal with funky voice and great look. Will be absolutely stunning in a few years. Great for TV, or Joss Stone - style music.
Dan O - Get a band together and be their frontman, the girls will love you!
Angie - BIG MOMMA, big voice, not given much of a chance but a great soul singer or good as back up. Interesting to see her on the tour if her and Dan are allowed to go.

Chanel and Anthony were up themselves so unless you like singers like that? ? Courtney and Casey were the best they are both down to earth people and do not care what others think. They did not have to try hard with their personalities like Anthony and Chanel as they are not fake. You get what you get with them. ' You know what would be funny? If one day... you had the opportunity to meet all 4 of these people, and Chanel and Anthony were the ones who were really friendly and the other 2 ignored you. It's one thing to have an impression of what someone is like from the limited time you see them on tv, but to state it like fact is ridiculous.

I agree with the last part of your response but Jenny wasn't referring to friendliness. She meant that Casey and Courtney appear to be 'what you see is what you get' type people. There's no way of knowing that for certain of course (as you state), but even if Anthony and Chanel were friendly while Courtney and Casey weren't, there is still no way of telling who is fake and who isn't.

I didn't just mean friendly... what I mean (and I know it didn't come out the best) was that jenny thinks Chanel and Anthony are fake, so it would be funny if they were exactly how they appeared to be on tellie, but Courtney and Casey weren't, and not as down to earth as she thinks. Not trying to put either Courtney or Casey down here, I think they are both great And apologies for the confusion.

Well I haven't met any of the other Idols, but I Have met Courtney He is a wonderful down to earth kind of guy who found time to chat to each and every fan that turned up at the airport when he arrived back in Perth after Idol. He was incredible with all the kids and let them all have their photo taken with him. I have also met most of his family and I can see where he gets this from. The whole family are genuine, down to earth people and are absolutely delightful! I agree with the last part of your response but Jenny wasn't referring to friendliness. She meant that Casey and Courtney appear to be 'what you see is what you get' type people. Marty Worrall - you legend! his concert performances are kicking some serious ass - pity he got so confused with song choices etc on the show because now that he is relaxed his true talent is showing - Rock On! (also a lovely, genuine, sincere person) which is why Courtney, Chanel, Casey are standouts for me too as they possess these qualities - top performers
