Long after this show is over, i will always remember Chanel. She is the only one who really stood out for me. Love her or hate her, Australian Idol 2 will always be remembered for Chanel.

I agree - she was definitely the stand-out performer for me.

The thing I was thinking about Chanel was her performances were very theatrical but if she didn't have that aspect right, the song and performance sort of didn't work. But when she got all aspects right, like in "Across the Universe" it was like a performance piece from a musical. Other times it was either too camp or over-the-top, or her vocal weaknesses showed through.
She certainly was very memorable, but I think she worked hard at that to try to cover her shortcomings.
There is obviously no denying that Anthony singing "The Prayer" sealed his fate in a lot of ways, gave him his opportunities, and made up for a lot of less memorable performances.

Daniel's dummy spit was the most memorable performance of Australian Idol this year. Nobody topped that.

Chanel & Ricki Lee. It's a shame they had to edit the footage to pit them against each other. Why can't we have two confident women dammit!

Anthony, for sure. He's an all-round star performer and he's never let me down vocally. I think his Grand Royale touchdown performance is an extremely memorable one, as are all his awesome performances. ;D

Most: Chanel by a country mile Least: Emelia (completely forgot about her until recently, obviously not a big enough scandal), Dan and Ricki-Lee (I know, but when you think about it, I Have Nothing was meant to be a really special moment. Remember it well? I didn't think so )

Daniel singing 'Rock DJ' is hard to forget Oh Lawdy Lawdy! That was awful and naff - and yeah, his major (and terribly sexually appealing) sulk at the end of it. Mind you, I did agree that the judges were confusing him although what a stupid song to pick!

Anthony if he never performs another song the Pray
was just heaven sent the best single performance I have seen on any Idol anywhere in the world.
Like Dicko said'' the best performance I have seen on that stage for two years.''
This man is the real deal with a 18ct gold voice who at 21 despite what all the knockers, loosers and dudes with out one ounce of talent in their bodys have to say is only going to get way way better.
always a pleasure.

I'll always remember Chanel. Courtney was also quite memorable.
Least memorable performers for me would be would be Dan, Emelia and Anthony (and no, not because I hate any of them, I just find them forgettable).
