Someone should tell Guy his fifteen minutes are almost up and that he should get some action while he still can.

Imposter!
Why are you using my name to repost things from the TWoP boards?

Guy's concerts that have happened so far have all been reported as sellouts - and the two I went to certainly were - they were packed - he performed for nearly two hours and was worth every single cent and he lifted the roof everytime he finished a song Don't believe what you read in the papers - they never get it right. Don't think I will come back to these boards - just thought I would have I look around and some of the posts are pretty negative even by a moderator

Listen to the people who attended the concerts. Read their reviews. I have never heard one complaint from anybody who was actually there. I went to the Perth concert with a few older friends 30's and 40's who go to a lot of events and they reckoned it was up there with best they had been to. Guy gives everything hes got when performing and he sure has got a lot to offer

Well if Guys tour was a flop, that was the best bloody flop Ive ever been too! How to have a Guy tour flop: pack out the auditorium, sing like an angel, captivate your audience, blow everyone away, and leave them screaming for more! Bring on the flops I say!!!!

Guy's Amazing Flop Tour would be a great name for a concert tour, I really must say. Maybe his next one?

I haven't posted over here in ages but thought I'd comment - what a load of crap.
Guy's tour was phenomenal and as far as can be from a flop. I can't wait for the next one.

;D See to be believe
I would say Guy done a pretty good job, who can pull off 7/8 states full-on concert like Guy within 2 months. Gotta give Guy a full credit as an artist.

Leebella, girl, I was just being facetious. Of course it wasn't a flop!! It was absolutely wonderful!!! Sometimes it's best to make fun of the detractors.

I don't come here often, now I remeber why. My comp has been reprogrammed and this is where it sent me,ggrrrr. GUY CONCERTS?? Fans went to multiple shows after seeing their first, paying for interstate travel and accomodation and some even paid up to $240.00 for last minute tickets. Would they have done this for a "flop".... maybe, but I seriously doubt it. I attended 4 shows myself, and was sorry to see them end.

i don't see why people are getting upset...I don't think people here are accusing GUY as being "a flop" (as in untalented), or that his tour wasn't enjoyable, just that it didn't sell much. Well, I think I am pretty close to being a middle ground here...loved Guy on Idol, but these days he is just a guy with a fabulous voice who unfortunately for me writes music I don't much care for. I think Guy is at the moment quite successful and it seems to me that his tours have sold well (although maybe not as much as people may have hoped/anticipated...I don't really class that as "a flop", but a lot of people are quick to make Guy the butt of criticism, so it doesn't surprise me that the media said it.). However, I think they may have overestimated his popularity. His tickets were very expensive...a lot of fans probably thought it was worth it, and the Fro-zone thing seems like it was probably worth the extra cash if you are a big fan (and that sort of thing is something that a lot of artists don't do at their shows). But the regular seating was pretty steep. In the end it seems they managed to sell most of the tickets to his shows, just maybe not with the desperate flurry they expected/hoped for.

I don't think Guy fans are getting all that upset, they pretty used to it now ;D..And they're pretty much do what they need to do...being a Guy fans. There's too much Guy dissings on some forums, I think that sometimes makes some Guy fans sensitive and defensive but I think Guy fans handled them quite well. I don't get Guy that much on Idol, just not into reality show and cover songs...but fortunately for me, he writes original materials on 2nd album that I care for. Is that makes me a Guy fan? ;D
