If our seven remaining finalists could look into a crystal ball, one of them would see something like this: a shower of glitter at the Opera House as their name is announced as the next Australian Idol, a number one single and album, deafening screams around the country as they perform for thousands and thousands of besotted fans.

If there is not a crystal ball to hand, they could always look to Guy Sebastian to see how life pans out after securing the Australian Idol crown. Guy has experienced the glitter shower, the number one album and singles, and now Guy is set to embark on a national tour of Australia, which is thrilling news for his army of fans.

Guy took Australian Idol, and Australia, by storm last year with his fresh talent and down-to-earth nature. Performances from last year's show, like 'Climb Every Mountain' and 'When Doves Cry' made an indelible impression on the musical landscape, and amply demonstrated what a unique talent Guy Sebastian possesses.

With a new single debuting at number one, 'Out With My Baby' and a new album to follow (written with one of Guy's idols, Brian McKnight), Guy is standing by to remind Australia exactly why he won Australian Idol last year.

Tickets for Guy's tour go on sale from Monday, October 25.

Yep, I just knew it would only be capitals. How unfair is this especially for all the younger fans? I live in a large regional town and even Shannon and Millsy came here. I am really disappointed. I know he is a big 'star' now but they should remember that people in the country voted for him to become Idol as well..

But none of the Idols came here at all. So I guess at least you got to see the others. OH and how many of them did TASSIE

I'm sure if the Idols themselves had a say they would probubly enjoy doing the "smaller" concerts

anyway some of us just have to save what we can and go if we can where they are

Talk about national pride

Michael Chugg announced Guy Sebastian's anticipated first national tour will take place ahead of Christmas this November and December.

Blazing before then, and on the back of his chart-topping smashes, including his six-time platinum debut album, Just As I Am, and his brand new #1-debuting single, Out With My Baby, his new album Beautiful Life recorded in Sydney and LA, with songs by Guy and some of the world's top songwriters is out October 18.

Sebastian's Australian tour kicks off November 15 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre and plays capital cities and Newcastle and Wollongong.

Tickets go on sale over the counter' October 25, but fans wanting to be part of the special internet pre-sale beforehand should register at www.chuggentertainment.com by October 19.

Michael Chugg Entertainment has booked the tour for the country's eminent venues, knowing that fans' response will be overwhelming.

This is the tour Guy's fans have been waiting to see, says Chugg, and certainly, with a lower-sector ticket price, interest from fans is already sky-high.

What's more, the gig has a 'Fro Zone, where 'Fro-ticket-holders will receive limited A-reserve seating, an access laminate, the opportunity to attend sound-check before the show and wait for it a Q & A session with the Aussie prince-of-pop himself.

With an incredible nine piece funk/pop band, backing singers, dancers and a few unexpected surprises, Guy's show will be huge. One thing is for sure on this Australian tour Guy's fans will see him like they have never seen him before.

I'm confident, or at least trying to make sure, that my first concerts will be everything that my fans want, Guy said.

We've put in months of preparation and I love performing live so I'm really looking forward to getting it out there.

When it comes to touring, Aussie-fans are on fire for our Guy.

With thousands turning out across the country recently for his in-store signings for Out With My Baby , it was clear that Guy was truly the Australian Idol.

People flocked to get near this charismatic and talented young man and with the up and coming Australian tour it is everybody's chance to get up-close-and-personal with our Guy.

Guy Sebastian is as cool-as-Christmas and there's only thirty-five sleeps to go.

Yes, considering that going to concerts of some of the all time greats (eg. for me Prince, Bowie, Springsteen) was $90-something, I think this is probably a tad too expensive.

Seem stupid to have these ticket prices so high because he is just putting pressure on himself and I certainly do smell a whiff of profiteering off his fans.

He better put up a damn good show and perform heaps better than what he did on the Aria night.

Or else it might be his last national tour.

I'd expect to pay around $80 for any artists performing, whether they be local or from overseas.

I guess the more expensive 'Fro Zone' tickets, would be for his more hardcore fans who want to get up close and personal.
I think it's a great idea, for an extra $30 you get to have a more intimate concert experience with him and he gets to meet the people who have voted for him, bought his CDs and are supporting him.

Sold out in Sydney and Melbourne. Second show announced in Sydney - sold out too.
