Guy by an absolute mile, followed by Cosima who was an absolute mile in front of the rest. Guy had the charisma, funk factor, rythm, dress sense, etc etc. great package. knew how to engage the audience and perform. a natural. his voice was the best of the lot too, pitch wise and range wise and just plain old "warm fuzzies" wise. Cosima does sound sensational on her new single and in some AI1 performances, but her throat problem really let her down. i noticed here deteriorating week by week. she should have come second but it would have killed her voice to continue. She has a sensational recording voice and that's important too. Paulini was engaging live, still a distant third from Cosima imo, but in all of her recorded studio stuff she doesn't grab me. it sounds a little flat and shaky.. If I had to pick a 4th, believe it or not it would be Matt. he sounded great recorded, and was ok live too. the rest i never care whether i hear of them again or not. completely forgettable imo

My heart absolutely belongs to Shannon.. hence he was my favourite contestant ..when he nails a performance, no one comes close to him... love his voice when he gets it right.. shivers and all that.. His album is a very good one. Enjoyed it even after 6 months. Personality..well...x factor and charisma to the max .. he does rock at his own concerts..maybe that's his comfort zone. He is just not consistent enough at his tv appearances esp the last few ones... read somewhere that he was sick since May and never had time to recover fully because of his hectic schedule so this enforced rest arising from the accident is a blessing in disguise. Cheers

Someone before me said in another post very wisely said, 'Winning the title is NOT the main prize.'
I reckon Shannon has moved on from being the runner-up long time ago and has captured a big chunk of the Australian public's hearts and minds.
Bryan Adams, the legendary rocker is having a series of concerts in Oz next year and is having Shannon as a "Special Guest" in his indoor concerts so that will be awesome. Wonder if they will do duets together!!!
Rod Stewart is appearing in Perth as the special guest.

It would be a bit like Bruce Springsteen being the special guest of The Eurythmics.
