Oh dear, my memory is fading with this one. Are you sure it was me? No I remember Jacque (holly) talking to me about it is all and later she made me read your poem or was it a song? Wasn't it a parody on "It's all about me" I wasn't here at the time either so let's forget it and remember Ange instead.

Bye bye iffy. I wanted to tell you that I read that poem and thanks for the laughs. yes I read it too, and I'm sorry Ifster. Seems you deleted your email too, so this is a permanent goodbye, alas. Before you nag me Cinna, just came back to say goodbye to a friend I was hoping to keep. I know he's not dead, so not going to harp on, but he did mean a lot to me. Very artistic, very caring, very hidden from most...... If you saw him through my eyes, you were lucky. For you, and thanks for the final Numan moments. We looked so good together... ;D and whilst I was busy wasting time on so many others, I underestimated your importance and was genuinely sad to hear of your departure here and from my Elife. So................... It's cold outside And the paint's peeling off of my walls There's a man outside In a long coat, grey hat, smoking a cigarette
Now the light fades out And I wonder what I'm doing In a room like this There's a knock on the door And just for a second I thought I remembered you
So now I'm alone Now I can think for myself About little deals And Issues And things that I just don't understand A white lie that night Or a sly touch at times I don't think it meant anything to you
So I open the door It's the friend that I'd left in the hallway 'Please sit down' A candlelit shadow on a wall near the bed
You know I hate to ask But are friends electric? Only mine's broke down And now I've no-one to love
So I found out your reasons For the phone calls and smiles And it hurts And I'm lonely And I should never have tried And I missed you tonight It must be time to leave You see it meant everything to me
Goodbye my electric friend.

I think there was a lot of wasted time all round.
