Well thank God you were able to decipher that. I must say, I had no idea how he was going to cover that. This single is not a cover! This single will released for a right reason and right timing. Well, I love cricket and I support whole-heartedly our boys in the Baggy Green. This song is one of those iconic songs that everyone associates with cricket and i can't imagine ANYONE covering it let alone Shannon Noll!

Where is Aussie spirit Shannon is the best Aussie singer and public will love it! Even that is a cover song, Shannon is covering well! I can't imagine this song covered bu other Aussie artist. |

Oops I thought Shannon wasn't going to sing it because Aussieking said Shannon wasn't going to sing a cover. This is a cover isn't it? I remember it as a child but only from TV in the 70s.
LOL! I didn't think Shannon would cover it because it would seem too obvious. He can sing it when he is doing some more pre-game shows.

Well, maybe he's releasing it as the official song of the 2004/2005 cricket season with the co-operation of the ACB. The lyrics will have to be changed though.

It's just a strange choice of a song as a next single if it is that cricket song  could be for charity or a promo campaign ..you know one of those one off projects.. Don't forget he sang on the AB medal cricket award show this year and did a good job of it and they might have asked him again....who knows  |
