Casey with her Cinderella story is the most memorable idol for me. It's been an amazing transformation. No-one else in the competition has grown as much as Casey.

I'll always remember Casey, Courtney and Chanel - the three C's!

Chanel.. but I'm not sure whether it's by her own merit or that fact that the fans keep bringing her up again and again and again. ;D I'll always have a soft spot for Casey and her beautiful, haunting head voice. OogaBooga - I think you've articulated what I felt was a little off with each of Chanel's performances once she hit the finals.

The most memorable idol? Well, there's Guy and there's Casey, I think they are both memorable in their own way the others are contestants of Australian Idol.. oh yes, semantics

TEXTTEXTTEXT ;)I would have to say the 2 c's. Casey and Courtney. Casey is such a wonderful, down to earth person. I am glad she won. Courtney has a voice that could make any women fall for him.

Idol was about two things for me:
The Anthony and the Chanel.

So true, I find it very spooky for Casey winning.
For someone that has been dealt life’s rawest deals from all the contestants wins the game. A very modern Cinderella story.
And one year from today it will be taken away just like the fairytale. :\
Idol did throw up a few gems, Courtney and Chanel But they are tuff enough to find there own way anyway without the crown.

Casey, for her uniqueness in who she is and her voice. There are too many singers these days who sound largely all the same! A lot of singers also fit into a certain mold. Casey is very different from the crowd.

Chanel and Anthony were up themselves so unless you like singers like that? ? Courtney and Casey were the best they are both down to earth people and do not care what others think. They did not have to try hard with their personalities like Anthony and Chanel as they are not fake. You get what you get with them.
